My home town team is Hamilton Accies so I've watched Alex Neil as a player, player manager and manager. Accies had a budget of pretty much zero and he was very astute in his signings, mostly frees. Players seem to enjoy playing for him, character a bit like Alec Rae, no nonsense, organised approach. If it's him I think he'll do well here.
If his name was Alex Rae folk on here would be creaming themselves! Some people have fascination for ex-employees of the club.

I’d imagine Pritchard would be the middle of the 3 behind Stewart. Neil and Matete being the midfield 2.
Probably. I’m only guessing he may play there as he’s very similar to Daniel Johnson’s who’s best position is also behind the strikers but Neil seemed to like him in the midfield 2. Browne was our CAM/Number 10 as Neil liked that position to be the focal point of the high press, they was more the engine of the team rather than creator but that could have been down to our lack of real quality.
And obviously you’ve all seen Pritchard more than me this season and Neil may prefer a him as the number 10.

Prollyz typing it while waiting in the garage to pick his car up. I'm not sure why, but I find him incredibly hard to like. There's just something about him, something beyond him being a slimy mag weasel. Can't quite fathom it. Won't waste any mare time on it....
He’s just an all round bad egg. The company he chooses tells us this.

Hes just not as good as Alex Neil and has all the charisma of a maris piper.

And Alex Neil has about the charisma of a King Edward.

It really is astonishing that these are the two options we have having sacked a manager nearly a fortnight ago now for apparently ‘cumulative’ reasons. Is this it? Is this the extent of our fact finding and process? Two out of work ex second division managers?

Who are you expecting to appoint in division 3?

The club is a shambles from top to bottom. Loads of people on here with their head the sand.

Fast forward 12 months and more might wake up hopefully.

Given that the alleged first choice candidate is no more why hasn’t the next best favoured man been immediately offered the post? After all, the recruitment team have spent the last ten days diligently interviewing a selection of people - haven’t they?
They may be diligent but ultimately they are indecisive…..as shown by the fact that they thought twice before about dismissing LJ then finally did it at the third opportunity

That was all bullshit. We are a league one club.
