It really is astonishing that these are the two options we have having sacked a manager nearly a fortnight ago now for apparently ‘cumulative’ reasons. Is this it? Is this the extent of our fact finding and process? Two out of work ex second division managers?

Alex Neil has a pretty good Cv……we had no consistent team team structure under Johnson. Under Neil I think we will be a tighter and more effective unit. Get it done.

Neil, for me, is the best candidate on paper. Has promotion to the premier league on his CV (as well as relegation but which norwich manager hasn't!) and actually been managing in the past decade. His time at Preston, while not overly successful, wasnt exactly a failure either.

Having said that mate, folk who get excited about a ‘like’ on instagram or twitter need to give themselves a shake.
