Thought they were canny boring at the City Hall like..they just haven't got the back catalogue to keep you interested..the new stuff was pretty underwhelming anarl.

What albums are you listening to then? It's been quite a good start to the year. Really enjoying the new Frightened Rabbit album, definitely the best thing they've released IMO. Veronica Falls new one is decent. Dutch Uncles very good. Everything Everything pretty shit. Haven't got round to...

I haven't seen them live in years. Back around 92-94ish they seemed to be everywhere: festivals, support for bigger acts... I ended up seeing them about 5 or 6 times and not once was it their own headline gig, they just happened to be on the bill.
Same with Skin.
(Although I did actually go to Stoke Wheatsheaf once to see one of their own shows.)And Little Angels.
I always enjoyed them when I saw them, like. They've probably not got the same energy nowadays. They're getting on a bit.
I'm afraid it was Blondshell.

I'll have to go with Lankum's False Lankum. A sonically powerful record working in folk traditions but lifting it somewhere else, some of it feels like a whole body experience.
