That's my assumption as to what was said in the interview, there is a clear contradiction in the officers statements. Why did the officer giving evidence not say what the officer today has said.

You'll find QCs don't lie but are good at manipulating the evidence. Them lying, knowingly allowing their clients to lie or making their client lie, would result in them being struck off.

I highly doubt a very successful QC would risk this.

They don't lie. What they do is work hard to manipulate or cheat the law system.

You can't make it any clearer because you don't have an answer for why the club didn't deny what they've been accused of. You can walk off claiming to have answered it but you haven't.

I have answered why the claims from court are far from evidence of anything, the club have stated they passed the documents straight on to the QC and were not in a position to make a judgement in his guilt. They could come out and emphatically deny any allegation but I believe they dealt with what they believed was the most important issue. Whether he would plead guilty or not and could therefore be disciplined.

I didn't read it but I did a search on paedophile in the statute and it didn't come up. What is deemed as unlawful sexual activity with a child doesn't entail being a paedophile. I'd be amazed if any statute contained the word paedophile.
