Detailed meeting took place, she new he's sent messages doesn't state wether Byrne new the context of them, but new he had kissed her, all coming from Radio Newcastle

You accept there is a big difference between knowing somebody kissed an underage girl and knowing that they broke the law then?

You don't seem to have accepted this fact so far in any of your many posts on this thread.
Do you not understand the issue of him playing isn't if he broke the law but if he kissed an underage girl?

That doesn't tell us anything, other than the club knew the allegations. What's your point?

They knew he'd groomed and kissed an underage girl. If the club genuinely thought he was going to plead not guilty even with that evidence in front of him, then Byrne and the gang must be a bit dense.

He was pleading not guilty at the point. He hadn't admitted to anything.

He hadn't admitted anything in court. He had however admitted it to the Club. Different things entirely. His plea is completely irrelevant - it's a red herring thrown into the statement to distract from the real issue.

Which he said in Court, I think his words were he outlined the nature of the allegations but didn't give the full facts. The club then did risk assessments and put safeguarding practices into place. I'm sure somebody clever than me will be able to find the exact comment that he made in Court, it was quoted enough.
