Abdoullah Ba

Paddy could actually keep the ball. He could bring others in. He wasn't a dog with a balloon.
Abdul’s ba 4 goals in 66 Roberts 8 goals in 134 ones an experienced pro who’s played at the highest level ones a kid
We let the lad down imo failed to develop him both sides at fault he should of been loaned out if he wasn’t gonna play in his natural position

Roberts was very good for us. He and Clarke were the 2 main reasons I enjoyed watching us, but if either injured and replaced by Ba, then I was pissed off. No comparison.

What’s Ba’s XP like in comparison to Roberts?

Comes on thread to see if there is actual Ba leaving news, but no finds out people are still arguing he’s better than Roberts

We can’t give him away man, let it go :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Apparently we've failed him. Sat about on the best contract of his life probably, having been bought from Ligue 2 in France.

Played for France all the way upto under 20 when he signed of us , surely that makes him as goood as Chris rigg if people’s logic of playing for international youth teams makes you good add up

Coz he wasn’t a winger

It doesn't though really, like it didnt with Mark Maley or Patrick Collins.

Your argument is a strange one . You aren't now even suggesting he was a good player, more that he had the talent to be one and that we let him down. But that takes no account or measurement of his own failings and personal development or application. Even how his physical traits may have elevated him at youth level and there were other elements of his game which he was unable to develop.

If you look at any of those England or France U16, U17, U18, U19 squads over the years to see how many actually make it, then in most cases it will highlight that most don't develop. That can't all be due to players being played in the wrong role or not being coached.

Instead you are blaming it entirely on us and Mowbray, which is ridiculous.
Coz he wasn’t a winger

At the level we were playing he wasn't anything. That was entirely his problem.

He was absolutely shit, like.

If you're ba, I don't understand why you wouldn't advocate really hard to leave just to play actual football

Wages. Although not on a massive amount - say 8k a week? Plus any loyalty money due at periods over his contract. He'll be on more money than he's ever likely to earn in Ligue 2 where he's been on loan.

Whereas AI estimates the average salary at Ligue 2 level is a few thousand euros per month.

What planet ya on 8k a week

Most wages at league one level when we were down there were 4k a week, with top earners getting twice that.. We paid €1m for Ba and he's been here since 2022 and it'll have gone up incrementally. Search on the Internet and 8k to 10k is what comes up, which will be pretty close.

Or do you think we'll be paying less 😃

Ba's lack of ability and brain is to blame.

Most top central midfielders who have came through the system in England over the last 35 years have started their first team journeys in other positions man, generally wide.
If so that’s why nobody is taking him he will get a decent move for free I think

He'd be mad to move really, unless he was paid up.
