5th test the oval

So Australia unlucky on many counts but one test gets rain and England are unlucky. Has it occurred to you that if no rain had been forecast Auatralia's approach would have been vastly different?
The other games were tight and England probably agreeably had best of conditions which gave slight advantage in them other games, but there luck if them other games were not definitive in deciding the test ketch

Where as that one test match where one team totally and utterly destroyed the other luck was definitive in deciding the result and easily the best performance over the series and were extremely lucky as would have definitely lost it.

If you are playing a 5 day test, know that rain is likely to curtail a chunk of it, you only need to draw to retain the urn, you play naturally more cautiously which is what Australia did and nearly got undone. England did great to almost force a result but you cant go 2-0 down to the number 1 side around and expect to win 3-2, very rarely happens. England undoing has been by and large of their own doing

Don't buy into the media who are giving Stokes an easy ride thus far. If he had less credit in the bank he would be getting a lot of stick as Australia have been there for the taking from ball one of the series which Crawley smote through cover. England have played a mix of exhilarating and dumb cricket in the series and have fallen short

1 more good session and we could be 150+ to the good by the end of the day (80-3 last session please)

Just as an additional ‘snipet’….that Bairstow catch (Travis Head) continues the ‘Caught behind by Wicketkeeper in every innings’ bet….except for the Aussie 2nd innings at Lords. That’s 16 innings out of 17 so far.
A bet that I had….
