5th test the oval

They have tried too often to be the direct opposite of bazball rather than play their natural game imo. They might argue that the series result so far justifies it but they have lucky so far imo
That’s we winning this match is really important on two counts.

1. To draw the ashes and moral victory with us on top in rained off game.

2 To justify the way of playing for the good of the game going forward.

Lucky as in losing every toss of the series until this test you mean? Lucky as in approaching the first test match sharp unlike England who were playing golf and a county 2nd XI? Lucky as in losing their no.1 bowler in the second test?

What a load of drivel

I can't remember the last world class genuine allrounder that Australia has produced. Warne was the closest and while he handy with the bat but still a bowler who batted not someone capable of getting 5 wickets and a century.
Watson was very decent with the bat, just couldnt stay fit enough to bowl.
Symonds was very handy with seam, spin and bat
Maxwell just didnt crack it in test cricket

I mean Starc averages 20 odd with the bat as does Cummins....

Lucky as the one test match where one team totally destroyed the other and were certain to win was rained off.
