4th test Manchester

This is my biggest frustration. They try something new, but persist with it for far too long even though it isn’t working

England have been vindicated for batting on in their first innings if nothing else for all those who wanted a declaration. Those 66 runs from 49 balls in the 10th wicket partnership might prove crucial yet.
Being devils advocate, on todays showing so far these conditions are demonstrably worse for wicket taking than yesterday when they took 4, as well as being quite safe to chase a small final total from Australia, suggesting they batted on way too long. I'd take another 2 wickets and a small lead than this scenario.

Totally agree. We should have had them in much sooner
