By comparison, Rushworth is Durham's leading first class wicket taker followed by Onions. To me, Harmison was Durham's first world class home produced cricketer, who put us on the map and is the best but all subject to opinion

There's a lot of bowlers who were better than Flintoff. For me strike rate is almost as important as average. Flintoff's strike rate was relatively poor... 65ish I think

A different perspective and viewpoint.

To me the 2005 Ashes was the best series I have seen to date. Flintoff pulled the rest of the side with him, a measure of greatness IMO

Jimmy has bowled some great spells but I don't recall any meaningful series where he has pulled the rest of the side with him in such a manner. Consistent, longevity, very good on certain wickets but not close to greatness IMO
