Flintoff record was only 2 ish better average than Jimmy but you think only record against Australia count just ignore over 600 wickets which will never be repeated

As I have said on numerous occasions, as many commentators will also tell you, Englishman whether you like or not will always be judged by what they do against Australia is it sorts out the men from the boys. Anderson would be held in high regard for his achievements in the game, but would fall short of greatness or best tags in the eyes of many

Flintoff also batted, did not take the new ball and was often used when batsmen were set on flat wickets

Not sure what you are watching, but the seamers used so far have not looked particularly threatening

Anyhow let me know when you have come to a decision on who the best batsman of all time is. Tendulkar (based on your methodology) or Bradman (the entire cricket world bar Chops)

I love Flintoff but if you think he's better bowler than Jimmy words fail me not sure why you mentioned his batting it's not relevant

And that is what makes cricket such an interesting sport to have differing views because if we all thought the same there would be no cricket debate

I place a strong emphasis on what players do against Australia as players learn more about themselves more so than against any other nation. Records against Windies, Sri Lanka etc don't hold much sway for me. It does not make me right or you right its an opinion

Flintoff still averaged 33 against Australia so your argument is slightly flawed
