3rd Ashes Test - Headingley

Just watching the highlights now, you can give the aussies the urn now 😡

At least 6 batsmen got themselves out...

Bob Willis absolutely fizzing on the debate. trott, meanwhile, backing the current team as the best available. He’s always such an arselicker.

I could only watch up to lunch and have just seen the highlights. That has to be the worst day of test cricket for England in many years. At least seven of the batters were out playing poor shots. The bowlers did their best, doubtless, but we had to get them out for a similar total and we didn't. I think we will lose by c. 200 runs, possibly tomorrow.

Nice work Joe 🙌
Is that a photo of his hand while he was dropping his catch?
England will win and a Sunderland win, we’ll somehow manage to chase 300+

I’m sober and not in a straight jacket
I'm not sober and if Australia declared 50 runs ago, we still wouldn't catch them.

Not think 15.2 overs off the spin is a little too much? We won’t have any seamers left by the end of the game.

The Ashes is currently on the line, and pretty much lost, the time for longer term thinking as gone.
How about manage his bowlers competently? They've only bowled 57 overs in the day yet they're dropping like they've bowled 120 in Mumbai.
His two quickest bowlers are on their f***ing knees because he doesn't know how to manage them. Stokes and Broad have both bowled more overs than Leach. If he hadn't cramped up there's a good chance Archer might have as well.
He doesn't have a clue.

It's a last ditch effort and a crucial time in the series.

Doesn’t mean you have to completely destroy the lad, especially when the pitch is turning. Quite easy to rotate your seamers around Leach - thought that’s the point in having Leach in your team?

Jeez those averages are poor. No wonder Bairstow is desperate to keep hold of the gloves as it masks his very average test record

What the fuck is up with Graham Thorpe accent.

Has a saffer or even Australian twinge to it.
Funnily enough, so does Burns'. It must be a Surrey thing.
I feel compelled to watch, for a little while, but it's going to be ghastly.
