Absolutely devastating news, RIP to the lads and all others on board. Condolences to all families & friends on board.

Been said previously but no one should set off to watch their team play football and not come back

RIP to everyone of them.

We are all potential victims now of any particular violent group wanting notoriety or to bring attention to whatever their "cause" is. The poor people on that plane all got the wrong lottery ticket.

Sad stuff, it almost unbelievable that it was Malaysian Airways as well, really tough year for them too.

It's just unbelievably sad. The more you think about it the worse it gets. The lads were sat on that plane for the same reason that brings us onto this board and on motorways/trains/buses every weekend. And now they're not by almost the most unlikely circumstances imaginable.

This puts any meaningless football rivalry into perspective.

It's always in perspective to anyone with any intelligence. It isn't meaningless though, it's just not as important as some other stuff.

RIP to all those who died inboard that plane.

Did I laugh at the tragedy? If 2 fans from a lower league club had been on the plane would we have heard about though?

300 people have lost their lives it makes no difference to me if they're football fans or not it tragic

Maybe your comments caused offence because your detracting from the fact people have lost their lives and youre focusing on badmouthing their fan's reaction to it?

Geordies, Mackems.....we're all people

RIP to those who died

Bloody hell some people need to learn the meaning of sarcasm, But hey give it a couple of weeks and it will be business as usual

There's a time and a place. It's not about business as usual, it's showing a bit of respect.
I gather you didn't go to Celtic Park or Peterborough?

Absolutely devastating news, an absolute tragedy. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew these two lads, family and friends.

All rivalries are put into perspective at this kind of news.

I'm hoping that our country and others make sure that justice is done for this outrageous crime.
