Tragic for all concerned, but for there to be a couple lads from up here makes it hit home a bit more.

Terrible news this. I was at work when I heard summat on the radio about 2 nufc fans en route to pre season in new zealand, and the name Sweeney. Mate of mine is a big mag fan with the same name , I nearly shit it, had to phone a mate of his to check, thankfully not him, but the lad I called knew both the victims. RIP lads, perspective etc.
 
Bloody hell some people need to learn the meaning of sarcasm, But hey give it a couple of weeks and it will be business as usual
 
When you look at all those images of people enjoying themselves at the World Cup from different parts of the globe then you see what is happening in Ukarine, Syria, Gaza, Nigeria and other places you wonder if we are the same race.

RIP to these lads and all others on that plane. Tragic.
 
Sad to hear it. I know the mags are the mags but at the end of the day it's two blokes going to watch their team.
 
Its a fair comment that there are so many people being killed these days, that its hard to have any true empathy.

But when you hear its local lads, footballs just like us, it does bring it home.
