2-3 yrs time?...

It’s crucial we keep a hold of our players and upgrade the fringe.
If you want to progress you can’t be selling your best players. Not at this stage in our journey. End of next season maybe one but you need to build.
If the likes of Sadiki Roefs brobbey le fee Nordi or Xhaka leave it’s going to cause a big hole.

The likes of Talbi, Angulo, traore, Rigg, Wilson, Mayenda need to be squad players to push on.
Hard to say that but it’s true. Love Wilson as well.
No idea what Mayenda’s next steps are.
Not sure I agree about Talbi, Angulo and Rigg who are all still very young and likely to improve while playing. Maybe Mayenda as well, if he can kick on from a disappointing season. Traore and Wilson, I expect to leave in the summer.

We need to see more of Ta Bi especially as he looks like someone who is exactly that type of winger.
But what standard is the Israel League where he has played his football? Triantis was written off because he was only playing in the Scottish Prem, even though he was outstanding there. Far too early to have any idea whether Ta Bi can make the step up.

We’d need Champions League level money to build a squad as impressive as Villas.

We’ve seen us compete in games against the best but they’ve generally had bench options to overcome us. There’s no shame in that - we’ve done very well to be competing - but squad depth is the reason that the top teams generally end up at the top year after year.

That's why i said we need to see more of him.

I do wonder however, how much money it will take to get the lads, close to a squad good enough for the conference league, to start with and then the Europa League, it cost fortunes to get champions league as well all know, but the other two. 🤔

I don’t really know, to be honest, because I haven’t watched any European footy for years.

I’d imagine, however, that Conference and perhaps even the Europa is accessible with the current level of squad (albeit with a few extra bodies).

Well Forest and Palace are the examples, so maybe in 2 to 3 years time Europa League could be on the table, maybe next season, if we win something 🤔 if we finish this season well Conference league, finishing 8th, could do it, depending of course on, who wins the FA cup, and we may only need to win 3 games, to finish it. 😎 🍿
