“Elderly”

The definitions change over time. The current Oxford English Dictionary is Between about 55 & 65 so that's twice now I've been middle aged & then not.

Middle aged is when you stop going to the pub every night. Elderly is when you start going to the pub every night again.

Conclusion: I become old later this year unless I keep up the exercise and get a hobby.
