Wouldn’t sell Maguire like. I know he blows hot and cold but he’s a good number 10.

We did get a sell-on when he went from Ipswich to Bristol. Shame he didn't go straight to Brighton though.Webster played for Pompey. An absolute Royce of a defender. Would of been nice to have a sell on Clause but we swapped him for Matt Clarke for Ipswich and some money
That’s what I’m saying... but then we got Clarke out of it so I suppose that’s even better? Cos he went for more than we would of got out of this Webster deal?We did get a sell-on when he went from Ipswich to Bristol. Shame he didn't go straight to Brighton though.
@Vernon @My Boy Harry @Vindaloo and @SAFCOldie want to stop immigration. That's gonna push British players values even higher. No one knows what players may be available post Brexit so U.K. player prices are going crazy. Especially English ones as once Boris gets his second wish of de solving g the Union jocks n taffs n tea caddies will be even more forrin than they are now. Etc.
It’s £45m for DunkYes I always wanted Dunk. Very good centre back but 25 million insane.
The worlds gone absolutely mad. It’s £45m for Dunk
Stop it with your socialist nonsense@Vernon @My Boy Harry @Vindaloo and @SAFCOldie want to stop immigration. That's gonna push British players values even higher.
About £50m extra on his price tag because he’s EnglishI think Maguire is worth it in relevant terms. Excellent defender and very good passer.
Sorry, been reading the novel (sorry, training manual) 1984. Got a bit carried away.Stop it with your socialist nonsense
No one likes socialists or socialism
Dunk is the custard cream of the cropI’m so bored of the whole thing I don’t even know who Dunk or Webster are!
I’ve been banging on about this on every thread about crazy prices for centre backs for the last few years,
Dunk's an England international (albeit 1 cap in a friendly against the USA).
It's not just CB's though
Which Englishman playing in the PL isn't.
They all get a go sooner or later
Being on the receiving end of one of those transfers would straighten out a few issues for us.We are probably better off out of this madness until it calms down
people have been saying that since 1992 and there's no sign on if stoppingWe are probably better off out of this madness until it calms down
I’ve been banging on about this on every thread about crazy prices for centre backs for the last few years, but, i’ll say it again... the easiest way to make money in football is to collect young, tall, strong, preferably English, centre backs and play with a very defensively-minded team (midfield virtually sat on top of the defence, narrow fullbacks etc) - you’ll not concede many goals, and the media will constantly big up your central defensive partnership (and keeper) - then sell the central defenders for inflated prices
I have news for you it’s not going away money is cheap around the world with low interest rates...We are probably better off out of this madness until it calms down
