we have done it all tournament, and usually take it after a wicket falls. should be seriously considering it now. take them by surprise, these 2 batsmen can hit it a long way, but also it may force sri lanka to bring malinga back on now meaning he cant bowl at the death when he really can bowl yorkers all day long. do something different england !!!

That's a very good point. He still has five overs to go but surely it's going to be a lot easier for these two to try and hit out at him than the likes of Prior, Bresnan et al.

best that we are batting 2nd as even alot of the SL players look tired and hot.

Going well now but would wait another 6 overs before taking the power play just incase the lower order fails

i wouldnt fancy any of our lower order batsmen against malinga. why cant flower/strauss see this? the guy bowls 90mph yorkers that swing in at their feet.

if wickets fall we are fucked. hopefully these 2 will stay in..........
