Loads of good entries this month.
My vote went to Clyde in the end, simply because I liked it best.

Cheers PB, always nice to get feedback both positive and negative. I am holding off voting until the archived versions appear as I cannot see them all at the moment.

Peachy, it was. I love the ice-cream colours of your orchids against the vivid blue sky, and I also like the way you've suggested the presence of the sun. Being very picky, I would have unclipped the orchids from their support, and let them "hang free" a little.

Thanks for your comments by the way, as ever they are much appreciated. Yes, mine was taken on a phone and turned black and white afterwards (it seems to me that B&W hides a multitude of sins :oops:).
 
Wow I've got a few votes :eek: :lol: By the way feel free to comment. It was my first entry and I didn't know about 'C&C welcome' when I posted it.

Some absolutely stunning photos here and the standard is very high indeed. I've not voted yet and will do later as I can't view many of the images from work. Got my favourite but need to have a last view before choosing three I think.
 
As nice as APB's shot is the filename suggests it was taken in April?

Nope, it was taken last week after my attempt with the egg failed. does that mean that the time/date is wrong on the camera or on my pp software?

I'm sure anyone in the middle east could verify that the sun does not go down at 16:00.... oh and :roll: , just for trying to smear my good name! :lol:

Great picture. My camera sometimes re sets the date when the batteries run down, bloody annoying, having to manually re enter it aswell..
I'm to the northwest of you mate and the sun sets here around 9.30pm - hope that helps.

Anyone with half a brain would know that the sun doesn't set at 16:00 so hopefully my good name and honest nature remain intact.... no thanks to MBC and youmademerealise.... :lol:

Right, here's my 3 favourites this month.

Clyde - Really love the colour you've got coming through the water, brilliant photo.

Chinamackem - I think the grainy look really set this off and for some reason, you can tell it's in china :lol: this is almost my favourite of the month.

Bigmac - pic of the month for me, the silhouette of that cloud is really catching and the colours are stunning.

1 vote each for the aforementioned.

EDIT: clyde isn't on my voting options?

The camera clock must be wrong but even with half a brain I realise that the 24/02/2010 at 16:00 does not correspond with your Hattaoman Road trip on April 2nd ;)

Clyde's gets the gold medal for me easily.
China Mackem the silver.
Then trailing way behind its a "photo-finish" (;)) between Kubicki & JanieP for third and theres nowt to choose between them.
The rest seem to have pulled over with various injuries as their nowhere near the finishing line.

Lets have a bit of imagination next time folks.

I just loved the colours. So simple but very effective. Hopefully you will get some more votes.
