Durham v Yorkshire T20 29th May 2026

Does anyone know if it’s possible to book 2 members tickets so me and my mate can sit next to each other? Thanks!

You can add people to your network and that should allow you to book seats for each other.

Me and my dad just logged in separately and made sure we clicked the seats next to each other, although there will be plenty space anyway and I doubt many will stick to booked seats

iirc in early T20 days you were assigned specific seats but no one adhered to it

Doesn’t look like a lot of members have booked seats. Wonder if many non members have entered the ballot. Not sure if Yorkshire are going to be offered the option to book a particular seat. Hopefully so.

Each member and season ticket holder can reserve their seat under the ‘Reserved Seat Member’ tariff, and purchase any additional seats at the early bird rate

Just a ploy to sell extra tickets then?

You might be right. It’s always a good game, one of the highlights of the season. I hope everything goes smoothly with the ticket sales and reservation of seats and that things go smoothly on the day.

Are they expecting to have reduced capacity or something? Or is there some kind of regulatory change that is obliging them to sell allocated seats this year?

Because otherwise this makes no sense. they’ve never had to “shut the gates” in past years and the Blast is less well attended now than seven or eight years ago.
It's a double header with the women, some of the ground is not on sale for it

MEMBERS/SPECTATOR SEAT SELECTION

2026 Durham Cricket Members and Season Ticket Holders who intend to attend the T20 Blast fixtures this Friday are required to select a seat ahead of the games.

Due to high demand for this Rivals Week fixture, all Members and Season Ticket Holders must have a match ticket issued before entering the ground. Membership cards will not be scanned at the gates for this fixture.

Suspect it’s going to be chaotic at the gates around 6.

Has anyone done this yet? Tried when I got the email but the links/buttons on the website appeared to be dead, couldn't click through. Probably my browser on my phone. Haven't tried on a laptop.

Looking forward to the first game tomorrow night.

All tickets for this fixture are unreserved seating so you can sit anywhere inside the Banks Homes Riverside. If it helps when you are choosing your seats this game will be played on Pitch 10.

That is the info from the Club. Not sure why you have to select a seat only to be told its unreserved seating? May result in "youre sitting in my seat" bother.

So I can sit anywhere tomorrow? But need to pick a seat to get in?

I think it’s more they want members & season ticket holders to have a ticket. Not necessarily an actual seat. I’m guessing it’s because they’re expecting it to get busy and will need to know exactly how many are through the gate.
