Can't see past Sinner for the men's but had an EW on Bublik.

I think Swiatek will win the women's but no value there so gone for a couple of outsiders

Sinner has lost 6 games in a row and is ‘unwell. He’s still 2-1 up in sets and priced at evs to win the match. That’s great value, he’ll recover enough to win imo.
 
I know people go on about his record when it goes five sets or whenever it goes long not being great but he's always looked competitive and lost tight matches, never really much to worry about in terms of his durability in any of them.

All of a sudden in the last 12 months he can't play in the sun for over an hour and a half. Really odd.
 
Isner and Querrey repeatedly referring to Juan Manuel as 'the bad Cerundolo' on their pod is quite funny but not without reason :lol: he is crap. Even a break up in this fourth set against best player in the world he's been terrible.
 
Fair play to Cerundolo. Playing in those temperatures sometimes you've just got to survive longer than the other guy! He pushed Sinner hard enough to break him and that's damn impressive.
 
Can't really remember an elite player having this many issues with heat when they're at their peak. Djokovic used to struggle with it massively until ~2010/2011 when he was already a Slam winner but not at the level Sinner's at currently. Really odd. Not sure what you can do. Massive block of warm weather training? It's hardly a new thing for him and his team so they must have considered a million things to try and combat it.

Two shortest prices ever for a player to win a Slam are Rafa at the French in 2009 and Sinner at the French in 2026, neither won the tournament.

I'm guessing him being fair skinned and a red head may have something to do with it.
 
Not seen a second of it cos I was out on the piss but Fonseca beating Djokovic from two sets down is the biggest result in the sport since Wimbledon final 2023. That is f***ing massive. I really hope that crowd's as loud as I'm expecting it to be when I watch it back tomorrow. Hope Ruud, Jodar or Fonseca win the tournament.

Funny that someone's hair colour is genuinely probably the actual reason why we're gonna have a new Slam winner. Makes you proud to be British! :lol:
