Is the first game you attended on YouTube?

I know mine was Vs Port Vale and I was in the Clockstand with my Dad and my uncle. I was 7 or 8, so would've been around 84/85/86?

In my head, we won it 3-1...

Edit: Right. Well that's my world view fucked then. We didn't play them til 1990 at Roker and theres no way that was my first game. Was going by myself at that point.

I've no idea what my first game was, clearly.

Here it is sunlun v spurs 1990 0-0 I remember it so vividly, not the match but the sights shapes and noises from the Fulwell end as I was in the mainstand paddock had me hooked,
Gazza n Lineker had grabbed my football attention months beforehand at the world cup, by the end of this game it was Norman bennett and Marco who I loved

I had to stand in the Roker End for that, the Fulwell was full. It followed the trip to Norwich on a sunny day. The result wasn't great but Marco's goal was.

My first match was a 3-2 win at home against Burnley in November 1964. Sadly it’s not on you tube. But this is from 3 months earlier at the start of that season so it shows what it was like. 3-3 against Leicester

I started with Stoke City at home on 26th August 1961 which I am pretty sure wasn't even recorded on film. The closest I can get is the away game against Lincoln City on 14th Jan 1961.

Father took me in to the Clock Stand Paddock as he didn't want me standing among the rough boys in the Fulwell End who would have mocked my Eton collar and top hat.

Yes mine is, what a wonderful start too.
Shaun Elliott had one chalked off for offside as well.

March 61, Sunderland V Spurs in the FA Cup is the first I can remember.
Nee chance its on the net.
I was 9 years old and I went by myself. 63,000 plus crowd. Different times then.

There's no way of knowing the first game I attended as my old man said he took me a few times when I was very young but can't remember when.

1st game I remember attending was a 2-2 draw with Millwall at Villa Park in 1988. Opening game of the season and both of us had just been promoted to division 1.

That is on YT as part of a season compilation but not as a stand alone game.
