Actually, there is a longer recording of 13 or so minutes, which crucially has sound, and therefore captures McPheat's equaliser and the famous roar that built up to the corner kick. To find that, I did a search 'Sunderland 1 Spurs 1 Pathe 1961.
Pathe also capture a 1955 'friendly' between the lads and Dynamo Moscow. It was under the original first set of floodlights at Roker, but the coverage is pin sharp.
YouTube wasn't invented when I attended my first game (don't know who it was against) I think we had a black and white telly that is opposed to not having a telly at all
