Nee one buys them mate since you don’t need a ticket to get out. I paid for the first few times then saw the state of the “service” and heard everyone at Horden saying don’t bother paying if you’re getting off at Sunderland. Must be missing out on a fair bit times at least 19 home games.

Would make too much sense to run better trains on a match day and have someone to check tickets. I don’t mind paying I’d rather pay and know I can rely on the train rather than get a free ride like a sardine

Used to make me laugh when I complained got free complentary tickets cause of the overcrowding surely that cost them more

They used to have ticket inspection at the top of the stairs checking who had a ticket those who didnt were asked where they got on from & duly paid this stopped for some reason

Yep nowt changes despite whoever we moan to. Ive lived in Stockton with a ST travelling up every home game, after moving down when my daughter (no) was born - shes 18 now.

On the way up on Thursday there was a Mag on my train to Waterloo. He was just ahead of me as we got off, I helpfully warned him to mind the gap as he was getting off. He didn’t get it. I was chuckling to myself for a good hour afterwards.

Just walked past a garden party in owton manor hartlepool, on way hone from the club , anyway a few of the scruffs on our estate still only have 1 shirt , and as I walked past I said , mind that gap lads , , straight over their heads wooshhh , they are oblivious to footy and life in general

The ridiculous thing is that if you look at the first page of this thread, it’s exactly the same issues as the current page! Absolutely disgraceful. They clearly don’t care about it.

They must be losing money as the ticket inspector can't get round the carriages. Put extra ones on and increase your revenue.

I’ve never understood why they don’t think like this! They must lose a fortune
