Latest boxing crack

Just goes to show the sport is gone - if it was as one sided as most people are suggesting.

I had Rico 3 rounds ahead, going into round 11. Usyk was asleep for the first 5 or 6 rounds.

It was as much the much bigger bloke with sod all boxing experience slowing down, rather than Usyk boxing well.

It’s hard to tell whether Usyk got old overnight or didn’t prepare properly.
Zero footwork which is what Usyk excels at.

Rico deserves huge credit for being so game with a great engine, but essentially he was just coming forward in straight lines and Usyk was retreating in straight lines.

I think that puts this silly nonsense that Usyk is one of the greatest of all time to bed. He's just came along at the perfect time when all the other top heavies were past their best and had issues ranging from drugs to mental health.

He was behind on the scorecards against Bellew when he got the KO. Chisora was robbed against him by the judges. Dubois KO'd him but the judge saved him and given him 10 minutes to recover.

Now he's been found out in an exhibition fight against a boxing novice.

Hopefully he has one more fight and buggers off as I can't stand his boring style where he does just enough to win rounds in the judges eyes, by using cynical tactics like end of round flurries that technically score but do no damage. Only his personality is more boring than his fighting style, almost as boring as the Klitschko's...

The bandwagon fanboys of his are insufferable and are off licking their wounds unable to process what just happened to the "greatest p4p ever".

He is one of the all time greats. He's nearly 40. Who do you class as the all time heavyweight greats? As most of them all lost fights...

They all had 3, 4 and 5 to Usyk?!
The judging has gotten noticeably more corrupt since the saudis took boxing over, they won't allow any outcomes but the one that suits them. Usyk fights have always been dodgy though, as were the Klitschko's.

Go watch the Chisora-Usyk fight and tell me Usyk won that fight unanimously.

You have to pin that mfer and the klitschkos to the canvas before the ref and judges let you have the win, as Dubois found out. The ref tried to rob Fury against Klitschko too and took a point from him for no reason.

Dont watch much boxing then 🙄. As that is laughable patter.

A great is someone who defeated the best fighters of the day in their primes, not someone who uses cynical tactics to sway judges against men who are well past their best. Not someone who repeatedly gets dodgy help from refs and judges. Not someone who was getting beat off tony bloody bellew on 2 of the 3 judges cards... 😂

He's totally overrated as we saw tonight. Glad he got found out, let's see who he fights next, guarantee he'll pick another shot to bits fighter. I still reckon Dubois can batter him if he can sort his mental strength and belief out and use his weight advantage properly.

Crackers

"Hi, my name is John Usyk (can't even remember (and don't want to remember) his first name) and I just got caught flush, I better throw a flurry of ineffective showy punches to put doubt in the judges minds that I lost the round! Oh look 5 seconds left in this round I definitely lost, better throw another flurry of ineffective glancing punches, of which most hit my opponents guard, but it will again cast doubt in the judges minds when they score the round!"

Proper amateur boxing tactics, I did it myself on occasion.

Both Palomo and Gugenheim had the fight equal at the time of the stoppage so would have had Usyk 2 points up at the end of the 11th. Procopio had Rico 2 points up at the start of the 11th so would have had it even at the bell.
What were they watching?

Fury fan by any chance lol

Usyk is still a great. It's been clear since Fury 2 that he's only hanging around for money fights and he is also old as fuck for a fighter now. He beat the absolute piss out of Dubois afterwards

Despite me being a huge fan of Usyk since his amateur days I'm buzzing tonight because boxing and it's absolute bullshit deserves to look like an absolute joke for putting itself in constant positions to look like an absolute joke of a sport.

Fight Kabayel or fuck off at this point. The sport always moves forward.
