Coventry, Ipswich and Hull

Not going to write any of them off individually but would think at least 2 will go straight back down
This ☝️
I think all 3 are worse than the 3 that went up last year. Probably the worst standard of Championship for a few years.

Ipswich have the experience so maybe they will know what to do this time round.
Coventry have something about them sadly.

Hope the ex-lads lads do ok, couldn’t give a shiny shite one way or another for Ipswich and Hull.

Hope Frank Lampard’s Coventry get humped every week. Tossers.

Depends on summer spending but Ipswich and Hull will have to make major signings to compete. Coventry may make a decent fist of it with a few good signings. Either way, I’d be disappointed if any of those teams finished ahead of us

McKenna and Lampard don't seem to be able to help themselves with style of play mind.

Unless they change and get pragmatic, which neither have shown the interest or ability to do in their managerial career so far, they'll make Coventry and Ipswich's task even more difficult.

Interesting to see what they do.

Aye and that was the problem for newly promoted sides in previous seasons, managers auditioning for big moves rather than doing whatever it takes to stay up.

People will be saying the same about these as they did about us that they are relegation certainties but without massive investment from all three then I cannot see any of them staying up
The investment is the difference. I don’t believe any of these 3 are in a position to do anything near what us and Leeds did. And that’s the minimum required to stay up.

Already seeing people on the Sunderland facebook groups saying “easy 6 points” etc

First to kick off whenever a pundit writes us off though

Never understood what he meant by that? We had to spend. We didn't sell our identity. Players like Roefs, Sadiki, Talbi and Diarra are the type of players we've been signing. Young players with potential. They just a higher calibre to what we have been signing.

I think it's a fancy way of saying, they won't be spending massive amounts.
More saying he hasn't got the money or the vision

Just pandering to the fans I believe. I’ve struggled so badly losing our identity in such a devastating way.

People need to move on from what happened with Coventry years ago
It’s not about that at all. Their fans and team are generally tossers regardless. I wasn’t live with the Jimmy stuff and couldn’t care about that, but I was alive during the 5-4 when my kid was hit with shit from above and every visit of theirs since when have been a shambles. Club can get fucked for me - nothing to do with their cheating past either.

If hulls playing style this season and next resembles how they played on the final they’re basically hoping to grind out 38 0-0 draws next season
