Southampton spying compendium thread

Why would Southampton do it if it wasn't to gain an advantage in the two legged tie?

I can't understand any argument saying that it didn't help Southampton win. Of course it did, that's why they did it.

they admitted to spying on oxford of all teams and still lost. boro lost because they weren't good enough

Hull are a weird team. They topped the mini league between the 4 play off teams and prefer being attacked and having none of the ball

That being said, boro should dominate imo. Waiting for my boro play off bet to become active again anarl
Aye I'll have to keep an eye on my Paddy Power safety bet on Boro to go up lol

That doesn’t really matter does it, I murdered someone but they had two days to live 😂 they still broke rules knowingly and in the hope of gaining an advantage. It’s shit for fans but they’ve cheated at the end of the day doesn’t matter if they won or not.

I don’t really get why it’s a rule but it is and they’ve been punished. If it’s easily viewable no the issue is one for the club to sort

Morally wrong but how Boro have the nerve to say they lost a two legged tie because of someone standing near a tree filming abit of training on a iPhone is shameful
Boro are saying that like every Club they have a right to expect that their opponents keep to the rules of the competition that everyone else in the League has agreed to. If you can't play to the rules you can't be in the competition.

Surely Eckhart gets the sack now. No self respecting Southampton fan could accept him back next season knowing that this decision is the major reason they won't be in the PL next year.
He’ll get pelters at every away ground next season anarl. If Southampton give a shite about their public image they’d sack him over the summer

Punishing Southampton is absolutely the right call, its what they deserve. However, I do not understand how you reward Boro for doing f all. Surely you just promote Hull?
