Matty Young .

If it’s genuine interest and they want him as first choice, then I’d agree. Send him to the championship.

If they only see him as backup, then it’s a bit pointless for his development. Needs to be playing.
I'd rather have him a bit closer he's still a kid of 19 and getting to and from Cardiff is a pain where as if he wants to get back from Manc its fairly easy

Excellent.

Hopefully Salford get promoted and he can go on loan there next season in league one. Constantly testing himself at a higher level each time.

Think there might be a rule about going to the same club three years in a row. Heard someone mention this few weeks ago
Based on what

Watched around 12 or 13 games including one at salford this year. Id agree hes ready. His kicking similar to pickfords. Was doing it on sunday picking out Graydon

Interesting comment about the amount of long balls Salford play. A theme throughout the division I suppose but a very good point about his next loan being important.

Absolutely. Not one team in what ive seen in league two play it out from the back but pickford had great long accurate kicks and managed fine to adjust

Cardiff are interested for the championship season.
Personally I wouldn't, top end L1 loan keep the pressure on him ideally a team plays out

I dont think there is, would be a silly rule if so

But imo he needs a different environment, had a few years at Salford, get him in different part of the country and go again

Id never heard of it either but was thinking i can never remember a player going to a club three years in a row

Would no clubs in Europe be interested in him? Everyone saying he needs to take a step up and play in the Chanpionship but if he could get a team in Netherlands or somewhere who play out from the back it could be great for him.

I think it's important he plays in the english leagues as he's still going through a key development phase and the physicality of the english came is really important if he's going to be a success in the premier league one day
