The Usyk hype is embarrassing, all the casuals think they have to say he's class to watch, when if they had a choice they would choose the following over Usyk...
Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Derick Chisora, Deshawn Dubois, Lennox Lewis, David Hayes, Evander Holyfield, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Michael Spinks, Larry Holmes, Leon Spinks, Muhammad Ali.
Usyk is definitely not contender for greatest heavyweight or pound for pound like so many say, he's entered the division at the perfect time.
Fury was shot to bits after mental health issues and drug issues (Fury would have beaten him in his prime).
Joshua was well past his best and mentally shot also, he would have knocked him out of the ring like he did to Klitschko, in his prime.
Chisora in my opinion beat him and was robbed, Usyk struggled with his size.
Dubois was hard done by and had him TKO'd but the ref gave Usyk all the time in the world to recover on some low blow bull crap where Usyk has his belt riding high.
Even in the cruisers, Tony Bellew was ahead on the scorecard by 2 of 3 judges when he got KO'd.
Na, I won't have it, Usyk is totally overrated by casuals in terms of him being one of the greatest of all time. As a boxer myself I can see exactly what he does to manipulate refs, using his extensive amateur career tactics. Watch how he'll throw a quick flurry of punches after he gets caught or right before the bell, these punches are ineffective but fool refs and cause doubt in their minds as to how to score the round.
Him being champion is terrible for the division, just like the Klitschko's were, who practically destroyed boxing for over 10 years with their boring styles that nobody watched.
