I think my mates took me in early as I was incapable of drinking any more.I wasn't alone. Thousands didn't get in.
Man City was bigger than the Wimbledon one I reckon
Sure Man City was around 15kI seem to remember Wimbledon was officially about 13K and one side of the ground.
Man City was probably similar, the whole of one end and half of the Kippax.
Wimbledon was grim, but City was an amazing day/match even though we lost.
Aye 9k of us in the FA cup in 96 as well at Old Trafford.Around 10k at Old Trafford for the league cup
Semi is the biggest of a game I’ve been at, though Barnsley as others have said was big too, no ideas of the numbers for that one though.
Was at Wrexham, sure we had 3 sides of the ground!!Aside of the ones mentioned
Wrexham 1979 and Villa 1977ish
Gig Lane - we had 3/4 of the ground but I think it only held about 12k.
The fence around the pitch had the arse out of my jeans at full time getting on the pitchWas at Wrexham, sure we had 3 sides of the ground!!
Agree...Man City was immense, what a day!Man City was bigger than the Wimbledon one I reckon
Doubt it.Man City was bigger than the Wimbledon one I reckon
I still have the scars on my shins. Standing on the bench seats + us scoring = carnage.Man City away , relegated yet still 2nd best away game I’ve been to and went to loads back then, absolute scenes at times
