I think my mates took me in early as I was incapable of drinking any more.
I seem to remember Wimbledon was officially about 13K and one side of the ground.
Man City was probably similar, the whole of one end and half of the Kippax.
Wimbledon was grim, but City was an amazing day/match even though we lost.

For some reason Everton in the FA Cup seemed to be half of Sunderland there even though we only had 6,000 or something.
Me dad said there must have been well over 20,000 went to Villa in the 70s. He said everyone in Sunderland wanted a ticket but in the end only him and his mate went on the bus.

There was a lot more at Man City than Wimbledon imo.
Gig Lane - we had 3/4 of the ground but I think it only held about 12k.

Doubt it.
Wimbledon only got about 3K of their own fans for home games. There lowest crowd that season was 3,800 against Pompey. There was over 21K there that day. Must have been well over 15,000 Sunderland there.

I once went to Cardiff, reported at the time 15,000 away fans , I remember as a young lad counting the coaches and there was literally over 300, just seen article by thamesvalleyman he has it right
