VAR

I honestly don’t think he did though. If we’re going to make a rule where any accidental pulling of har is a red card, then we need to also make a rule where all players with hair long enough to pull need to wear a hair net.
I think Ballard went to grab the lads shirt which you see with pretty much every challenge between players these days. Unfortunately the lad has got long hair and Ballard grabbed that as well, but no intention to pull his hair I’m certain of that. It just so happens 1 week after that lad at Man U was sent off, but with that pull it was clearly a hair pull.

I can't stand it. A couple of bored lads sat in the tactics truck absolutely begging for something to do, so the slightest contentious decision they sit scrutinising like they're watching the Zapruder tape desperate to give anything and everything. The whole concept of 'clear and obvious' has gone out the window, now it's fair game even if it takes them ten minutes in slow motion to convince themselves of something. Plus it seems completely arbitrary how they decide to apply or enforce rules anyway, so what's the point of it. It's absolutely shite and it's making the game even more clinical and soulless than it already is in the magabucks Infantino age.

We almost certainly would not be in the PL if it weren't for VAR

Well summed up mate. It feels like VAR has lost its purpose and now there are just a few blokes sat bored DYING to have an influence on a match.

Feels like we havent had the rub of the green this season at all with it. The odd thing we may have got away with but bar that just about everything has gone against us.

The assistant didn’t run back to the halfway line. There was no need for them to flag for the offside as he knew VAR was involved, but he seems to have known something was up immediately

I don’t see how you can make your statement with any degree of confidence

So VAR was brought it to look at accidental hair pulls?
To right..I did this to someone playing for my school in 1983 I got sent off and never got picked ever again for my school team I was told it was cowardly and deliberate foul beyond the spirit of the game..of course it's a red card and if I was managing today that player would never play for me again cowardly and most desperate attempt at a foul ever.

That decision today was criminal. It was like the VAR wanted to get Ballard sent off.
He showed the ref the only incriminating angles, and then as soon as Ballard was off we saw another angle where it was clear as day that Ballard was trying to grab whe wolves players shirt and one of his dreadlocks got in the way.

It just felt like the VAR was looking for a way to make himself the main character.
Shit ref on VAR, wants to be centre of attention.
