Weve only had two VAR decisions go against us, i think.

The Fulham penalty and that one.

Most of the var decisions have helped us. Burnley have had the biggest issue with it

I havent seen the VAR check again for the foul on Sadiki in the build up to their goal. Was that a correct decision?

Fond of you Hanky lad but he needed to be stronger, the handball at the end mind his arm was out so he made himself bigger and it blocked the cross but maybe a little close. Mind it was checked and cleared in a flash as most of ours seem to be.

That Fulham one was bizarre, even worse when I got home and saw the replay. Surely he’s offside we’ve seen pens for similar turned down as he was deemed offside. This whole hair pulling needs sorting in the summer like, the premier league does this every year, they focus on a type of foul start to give it too much then it’s disappears the following season. Something needs to give players hair covering the backend of a shirt looking at and also the punishment I’d argue that hair pulling isn’t worth the same punishment as someone snapping a players leg and then being out for a season.

I said it earlier I still don't understand how it can be given if he is offside, if he scores it wouldn't have been given because he is offside yet the foul can be given even when he's offside

Truly bizarre weren’t it he’s either offside or not what happens after the ball is touched and in play shouldn’t matter if at the point the ball is played the player is offside. That’s like saying a player going through on goal is taken down by the keeper is shown to be offside but then the keeper is sent off anyway 😂 you’d never ever see that happen if at the point the ball is live the attacker is offside that’s it that’s the end regardless of what happens next.

Just look at last week and our 'goal' they checked the offside first then looked for another reason to disallow it. Now if he was offside they'd not go a second further yet that didn't apply against Fulham

Thats not a var decision. Thats a lack of decision. We very rarely have var decisions go against us. Without var those penalties still arent given as the ref didn't give them

I think the point is that VAR chose not to intervene despite conclusive evidence, which is the same as VAR f***ing up really.

They're missing obvious stuff and then pulling up ridiculous things like an accidental hair pull.

This the var is used when it’s clear and obvious I think is the wording that part seems so open to interpretation that it’s become a mockery. I don’t know what will be checked and what won’t anymore.

I disagree. The argument is should we get rid of var.

Moments when theyve done nothing are irrelevant to the argument. Thats what would happen in the game anyway.

Only the pulling up stuff is relevant to whether it's useful.

Needs binning for me, keep semi automated offsides and get rid of the rest.

It hasn't improved the game at all, feels like there's just as many fuck ups as before and completely ridiculous things being focused on.
