Buts thats the problem once in Premier League. They are, with respect, a relatively small club and unlike the other smaller clubs they dont have a recruitment strategy like Brentford, Brighton and Bournemouth.
What do you want them to do about it? They are a town in the middle of the countryside about twice the size of Houghton and an hour's drive from 7 or 8 more successful clubs.Burnley do have a real issue with support don’t they. Even when playing triumphantly in the Championship they really struggled to sell out. Could probably do with a smaller stadium.
And a strategy to match their size because at the moment their transfer business resembles that of a West Brom, Norwich, type club, not a club trying to turn their fortunes around long term. Because there’s no reason when a club their size is managed right they cant be in the PL consistently look at Brighton Bournemouth Brentford for example.

Relative to their population, their stadium is like Sunderland having Wembley stadium as a home ground. You can't expect a third of a town to go to the match.
Sorry, I misread your post. You are right - they need to match their spending to their size, because their support is very much capped by location and demographics.Chill out compadre you can literally see me saying their stadium is too big?
I pretty much say the same things you said; not that big of a club support wise. Need to stop spending in such a wanton manner.
Hope so3 year contract Fab is wrong here
Very, very clever. Have a like. He's proved an elephant round their neck
Think most folk were expecting him to get injured but he hasn't.Plenty people on here laughing at Leeds when they signed DCL but he turned out to be a great signing .
Never know, he could still sign for Barca-lonaHe's proved an elephant round their neck
That's a 'beurrnin Benny' in them there parts. They should stop drinking Benedictine, it’s obviously mashing their brains.
I love it when a plan comes together.possibly right about Hannibal could be a top 6 player...... in the Championship.
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh course.Rumours going around that Scott Parker could be replaced by Steven Gerrard.

Blackburn7 or 8 hours drive?
Man united.
Man City.
Liverpool.
Who are the 7/8 hours drive?
Burnley are surrounded by other clubs. Preston and Blackburn are both just down the road, Blackpool and Wigan not much further. Leeds is about 45 minutes away. Add in smaller clubs like Accy Stanley, Rochdale and Bury who might not shed much support to Burnley. As someone else has posted, Burnley is a small town in the countryside with other nearby towns like Nelson and Colne being even smaller7 or 8 hours drive?

Not sure if they will now, think Spurs/Whu and Woves will be stronger for startersThey’ll come back up, then back down!
It was off the top of my head, but now you're asking:7 or 8 hours drive?
