BBC Football Focus to end

If there’s a live game on at dinnertime as there usually is it’s unlikely you’ll be watching FF unless there’s something on about your team or something that interests you.
In ye olden days though you’d watch and learn about other clubs because a) options were limited and b) the content was more informative and entertaining.

I would watch Trans World Sport and find the episodes interesting even if they were about obscure sports.

Football Focus years ago was much more interesting as they would always have segments about lower league teams. These days it’s all PL and WPL with a major focus on the bigger teams. Watched it a few weeks ago for the first time in over a year and it was terrible. I thought Alex Scott would’ve learned to read an autocue by now as well.

I really don’t know why folk watch motd when you get goals and highlights thirty mins after the match has finished. Daft really.

I’m travelling back from the match and if it’s a home game I watch the half 5 game when I get in the house. If I’m not going out, I’ll watch the football league highlights at 9pm and then motd. If I go out or I’m travelling back from an away game then motd is on record and I watch it the next day and skip the interviews and analysis.

Not everyone needs to watch highlights instantly ;)

Its definitely because of woke and nowt to do with everyone having all the world's entertainment in their pockets.
like TOTP and blockbuster, nowt to do with the changing world at all. having live matches on at noon had nowt to do with it either. or them having to make cutbacks.
The odd time I've watched it this season there have been more female pundits and reporters than male
women can talk about things like men, who knew.
