Like totally dudeCan you genuinely say he’s not the best finisher? He hardly gets any chances actually laid on a plate for him. I swear at one point last month he had like 6 goals from like 18 shots on target or something

I believe Brobbey is still currently working with Patrick Woerst. Turning more quickly and avoiding so many duels was one thing they identified in Holland as necessary as it was wearing him out in games. Scanning the field of play, orientation and receiving the ball whilst moving apparently the other key areas they are working on. He was clearly targeted by Spurs yesterday, really trying to rough him up and get him into battles. It worked to an extent, never seen him given so many free kicks. If he can work on the stiff arm rather than shirt grabbing he'll get us 15 goals next year
And Bassey probably dealt with him the best. You must be logged on to see media items

I Heard that rumourGreat striker and seems a great lad but has to score more goals
Still love the big man though and always will
God help the defenders if the best tactic managers have to combat Brobbey is to 'rough' him up.I believe Brobbey is still currently working with Patrick Woerst. Fantastic if it were possible, but I get the point of what you're saying. Double figures would be a decent target. Goals are harder to come by for strikers it seems. There are only 3 in the PL with 15 or more currently. Haaland, Semenyo and Thiago.
To be honest he isnt really a surprise package anymore knowing his style of play is one thing stopping him is another. He will be better next seaon. There's more to come from him, but he will be less of a surprise package next season. We will need to find new and exciting ways of using his strengths.
Exciting times ahead.
Diarra is a key part of the team IMHO. He is the only midfielder we have with the pace and dynamism to get beyond the main striker and cause problems. We will get the best out of Brobbey with people playing closer to him.

“There were a lot of emotions after that goal. But …HAPPY man, HAPPY Brian!”
Happy Brian![]()
Bendtner when linking up with Sessegnon has to be up there too.I’d add Kenwyne at least to the honourable mentions, in his first season anyway. He was exceptional with his back to goal.
Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce the signing of Brian Brobbey, subject to international clearance. He's not a striker, he's a centre forward........There's proper some numb nuts on this forum!![]()
Unbelievable when they clicked.Bendtner when linking up with Sessegnon has to be up there too.
Talented player. Not as talented as his ego, mind.
