Sir Brian Brobbey

Anyone else think he's going to be even better for us next season. He's had 1 season to adapt in the premier League he's still very young for a striker and I think the recruitment team and manager will have had more time to get the best out of him
He’s not the best of finishers, so needs to work on that pre season.

Everything else though is top stuff. Especially his hold up and link up play. He’s so key to us in RLBs system.

There's more to come from him, but he will be less of a surprise package next season. We will need to find new and exciting ways of using his strengths.
Exciting times ahead.

Start to see him and Diarra getting on the same page..that could help solve our scoring challenge.
Diarra is a key part of the team IMHO. He is the only midfielder we have with the pace and dynamism to get beyond the main striker and cause problems. We will get the best out of Brobbey with people playing closer to him.

Can you genuinely say he’s not the best finisher? He hardly gets any chances actually laid on a plate for him. I swear at one point last month he had like 6 goals from like 18 shots on target or something

Yeah, I think that’s where he needs to work on improving.

A fair few of his shots seem to be hit straight at the keeper.

I’m not saying his finishes are really shit, just that he needs to work on improving them.

Strikes me that for all his strength and aggression that he’s actually quite a sensitive bloke who enjoys being liked. Something he maybe didn’t get in Holland. I’m sure he’s loving the adoration here.

He’s an incredible, unique talent. Hopefully he’s starting to feel settled and loved, albeit he looks like he couldn’t give a shit about that stuff at times

More to come from him.
Does seem a bit nonplussed at times...not in his play but just how he looks.

But you saw what passion flows through him after he scored against the mags.

If we can get slightly better as an attacking team and get more out of our wingers, he will be lethal next season.

I love the beast.

He fits/suits the current set up and formula.

Not sure how hard be if asked to play in a different way.

Some have criticised his finishing but 1. He doesn't strike me as that sort anyway (prolific, likely to get 20) and 2. Used the way he is he knows chances are at a premium, which will add pressure.

I actually think they continue using him this way, and look to get others around him/closer to him, and those others to chip in more. That way we can stay fairly true to the hard to beat formula, tweaking rather than sacrificing.

Definitely this...especially in the modern game, cannot think of anyone stronger than him and we're only just finding out how best to utilise the rest of the team around him.
