Not sure if you've seen the Birmingham stadium video as it's not all about the footy as it will have other stuff using it throughout the year that will generate cash. It's going to be a sports district with loads of stuff by the looks of things and nowt like we could offer up here due to space limitations.

No doubt with it being new and shiny and probably offering what Spurs does and more then it will attract new fans. The revenue they generate from it all, not just the footy will no doubt help them over time to spend more on the team and ultimately get into the Premier League. If they do then their revenue could be in the top 10 I reckon.

Would imagine the Venn diagram of people criticising the Birmingham proposal and those against us extending would be pretty much a circle.

60,000 is the minimum capacity the NFL will allow for games played in the UK. I wonder why Tom Brady owned Birmingham have proposed a stadium that big?! 🤔
 
I see Nottingham Forest have ammended there plans and are intending to add a third tier to the Brian Clough Stand taking Capacity of the City Ground to over 52,000.

“I think we're incredibly fortunate that in the renewal window for our season tickets we sold 96%, the other four percent will sell out against the waiting list that we had. We had 15,000 people on our waiting list and around 1,400 tickets left so they will go very quickly and that waiting list will remain a large waiting list.

“I also think there is a piece here which is that we currently in the South and the East stand are not necessarily servicing our premium partners as much as we could do, so we have have 60 hospitality boxes of which we have a waiting list of 35 - that's the highest yielding ticket that we have in the stadium. We also have the ability that most of our premium outlets are all completely sold out as well so is there an inventory mix question that we can begin to develop.”

If we have another good season next season, and demand remains, I reckon they’ll do it next summer.

Think what he says pretty much rules out a full south stand as one tier with no corporate though.

They need to be careful what they do with that end, the type of corporate they put in could make or break the noisiest part of the ground.

Corporate also might not be as attractive if they don’t solve the downgrading issue.

This leads me to believe its gonna be an east stand extension

No brainer. Can fit many more times hospitality there, general admission costs far higher than south stand, plus the new legends way development shows they aren't doing that bit soon.

Just stick hospitality boxes for away fans only. That’s keep the atmosphere warm
 
If demand is there, then suppose it needs to be considered. Bit off topic, but if demand is that high, think the club should introduce a cup scheme ticket with season tickets. Obviously everyone has a choice, but if you choose, Automatically get your seat, loyalty point when activated at turnstile and could also help on priority phases for potential semi/finals. Our attendance at cup games has been abysmal for years and an even bigger stadium would be horrific with 15k in 1 stand.

I wonder where they'll move the people in the seats right at the back of the east? There's a good 4 or 5 rows which would be gone.
