Just watched the "highlights", drab to say the least. Nothing of note on there tbh.

Going back to the MAGAfee involvement in all this. Didn't he get put in a feud last year with Gunther for absolutely no reason when they were building Gunther up, even wrestled him? :lol: This Emanuel fella really does have a bonk on for him.

Aye. Had a twenty minute match with Gunther where at one point he was made to look like a credible performer who had an outside chance of winning during the match :lol: .

Mind, the way they book Gunther is bizarre to say the least. They have him retire Goldberg, Cena and Styles, and in between that he taps out to a Jey Uso sleeper and gets puts on his arse by McAfee. Quite staggering he has been shoehorned into a Mania match with Rollins too because they had nothing else for him 3 months after retiring two of the biggest names around :D

Think they were planning on him continuing the retiring angle but ran out of people to retire - considering Jericho didn't come back, Orton and Lesnar aren't retiring etc what you gonna do have his big year angle retiring R Truth at Mania.

The retiring angle is never going to last though as how often do people retire and even when they do, they don't. I am not a huge fan of Gunther don't get me wrong, I think he's a good heel but overrated as hell in the ring, but given his build they could have had him in something a bit more meaningful.

Also a bit crazy to think last years Women's champions don't even have a match this year :lol:

Thing is a match with Seth should be a big match. He's headlined the last two Manias but they've completely bothered everything up.

Had Rollins return with nothing to do as everyone was injured then looked like they were gonna run with Paul and that was shit so just drew a card by the looks of it.

Yeah it would have been fine with a build, but there's been none, just a random attack which no one can make sense of and left them with no time to build.

They should have held back on Rollins' return really, but it's all about ticket sales. Even the lower key returns over the past year like Asuka, Flair were announced in advance in hope people would buy more tickets.
 
Oh how great, we have the potential of a rapper Cam’Ron(?) being involved in wrestlemania now too, after Jey slapped him while doing a podcast.

More celebrities than wrestlers going to be on the show at this point, factoring in the ‘surprise’ interference from a couple out the crowd too :lol:

Never heard of the fella in my life but seen the clip of Jey dragging him over a desk and beating his ass down. After the sudden break from the show/podcast, it returned with the rapper hanging a piece of kitchen roll out his cap.

We’ve got a major rivalry heading into the weekend now :eek:

It's just constant now isn't it. WM and wrestling in general, has always had celebrities in and around it but the thing that has vanished is the payoff of a so called celeb becoming physical or getting a smack from the wrestler. Look at Arnie in 2000 when he gave Triple H a quick clip. The crowd went absolutely mental because you wanted to see Triple H get a clip. Now it's their on par or we don't even know who they are.

Still one of the funniest things I've seen in nigh on 40 years watching wrestling is Shane McMahon doing a leap frog and crumbling on his arse at WM 😂. This came after he booked HIMSELF to be in the final few of the Royal Rumble. f***ing howling
