Forthcoming gigs.

Lathe of Heaven are playing at Anarchy Brewery in Newcastle tonight. A mate from the US recommended them, a band from Brooklyn. Can't go due to other commitments but their album is brilliant.
Also on the Strokes, amazing that they're playing Newcastle however the Arena sound is absolutely terrible

Forgot to post I saw Echo and the Bunnymen at Newcastle City Hall on 3rd
After reading reviews of Ian McCulloch's poor vocals I wasn't expecting too much but thoroughly enjoyed it
He's looking old now like, 66 I believe, and they had to bring a chair for him for a bit

Pop recs tomorrow
Burned as witches, ASH drummer side project
Sounds canny from bits ive heard
Only heard the one track off Spotify, sounds a bit Lullabies to Paralyze era QOTSA. Looking forward to hearing more stuff tomorrow.

Also have Idlewild at the Fire Station on Friday. I liked them enough without being a massive fan back in the day. Handy one to take the bairn to though, bag some seats at the side and it's easy enough for him to see what's going on.

My mate has sorted me out for Jack White. Another one to tick off the list as this’ll be my debut & potentially last time given the amount he seems to play across here.

How much do I owe him 🫣

I’ve put my hat in the ring for this. Sundays a bit of a twat but as long as it’s not a fortune for the tickets I’ll brave it.

Seem to have got very busy again after a slow start to the year.
They were excellent on Friday at the arena
