the strokes thread has alerted me to jack white playing Newcastle, i entirely missed that announcement - will join the bun fight on friday morning. funny tour like, london - bristol - newcastle - belfast!
 
Enjoyed Burned as Witches at Pop Recs. Can tell they've not gigged their songs much, and for me a touch could have been taken off the vocals. All part of the charm though innit.

Had a quick chat with Rick McMurray at the end and he said they're only doing three gigs because it's all they've got time for.

Only downside was the low turnout for it. I think that's the fewest I've seen in there.

Loved the album when I was younger. Going to 2000 Trees though which is on at the same time so I am gutted.

Tbf there was only one song had been released, i was home by 9:55

Enjoyed it ,Claudia had a couple of good songs
If i wanted a woman screaming at me id stop in the house tbh

Two gigs in two nights - I will be knackered at my age!!
 
Rianne Downey was great in Hebden Bridge - Trades club is a cracking little venue and the beer was cheap which is always a bonus.
My back is knackered after the prodigy last night.
 
jack white tickets were a clusterfk. that was weird, an entire gig sold out in less than 30 seconds on ticketmaster...

You got a better set at Hebden Bridge than the following night in Blackpool. I would much rather have seen her with her full band.
The support lass from Boro had some decent crack but the songs weren’t written for my generation.
 
Got Strokes tickets relatively pain-free this morning, was incredibly lucky; 43rd in the queue on Ticketmaster so strolled in and got them without stress.

Also had an AXS tab open on me browser at the same time and got into that one just as quick, but obvs just sacked it off once I had the Ticketmaster ones. Obviously stars were shining on me today.
