Forthcoming gigs.

Anyone else at James last night at the Arena? Acoustics awful as usual and I'd be loathe to go back there for a gig (and bar prices outrageous) but a typically energetic and uplifting set from the band with a good mix of songs and thoroughly enjoyable overall. Doves were pretty poor IMO but no surprise there and again to be fair hindered by the sound quality in the soulless shed.

I enjoyed Doves, was near the front. The vocals aren't as strong, but musically the band sounded great. Cedar room is a tune.
Tim Booth is a cracking front man! I didn't realise James were that popular. The set dipped a bit in the middle for me, but sometimes at the end was class.
Didn't drink much in the Arena. They can get to fuck with those prices.

First time for me though I’ve liked them since my brother returned from college one day in the 80s with Stutter on a cassette tape.

Moral of the story for younger people is to not delay doing things!
Oh you are going to love it. If you’re standing get down the front!!

My mate has sorted me out for Jack White. Another one to tick off the list as this’ll be my debut & potentially last time given the amount he seems to play across here.
Have another go. 2nd try was diverted to Ticketmaster using the same code. No problems, apart from the price!
How much do I owe him 🫣
I wish I could see James again on this tour and I saw them 3 times last week 😂
they just announced Tynemouth 12th July
I’ve put my hat in the ring for this. Sundays a bit of a twat but as long as it’s not a fortune for the tickets I’ll brave it.

Seem to have got very busy again after a slow start to the year.
