I don’t see how that makes any difference tbh, you’ll still get people saying he’s only 1mm offside.Seems like a huge advantage for the attacking player.
For me, it’d make things much simpler if they just said your feet need to be onside. That would allow the attacker to lean into their run for a slight advantage, and the VAR checks would be easy.

No one offside on a cold Tuesday night at Stoke. What about night games under floodlights?
They haven't thought this through.
It doesn't in any way address the failings with the current offside rule.As the title says
If Wenger has his grubby hands on it, you just know it will be as shady as out

Haway the trting to getting to rid of defending.
Haway the continuous debating about mms from where the new line is drawn.
Haway the haway.
They’ll still be 2mm offside just 2 extra millimetres of ‘clear light of day’. I don’t understand how people don’t see this. All they are doing is moving a line it’ll still cause the exact same issues just some goals that were offside for over 100 years will now be allowed.Ave been saying it all day long, clear light of day between the players not 2 millimetres of the players right ring finger off side!!! Simple really!![]()
