Watched the cross country on you tube yesterday and it looked like a great day. Well done Sedgefield Harrier's & anyone who took part .
I've got my first ultra on two weeks-kingdom if Northumbria 55k. I'm panicking. My plan was condensed due to back and knee problems anyway. Was meant to do my last runs this weekend - 21 & 7 miles but throat is killing and I've a cold. Decided to try and fight it off rather than push on when I'm ill.on a positive I'm slow but have managed multiple 40 mile weeks. Anyone done such a big distance undertrained. I would have postponed and done it later in the year but I'm running for charity and awaiting an urgent operation which could happen any time
