Geertruida

With Bradley out for the season and Frimpong not being good enough for RB I think he'll genuinely be their first choice RB for the rest of the season.
Not to mention playing in the same team as Van Dijk, Gravenberch and Gakpo sets him up very nicely for a World Cup spot. I’ve got no issue with him being keen on the deal, but let’s see Liverpool make it worth our while. Endo on loan would do nicely.

Even if personal terms are sketched out in principle if a player doesn't want to sign for you when the loan finishes, what happens then?
The player's permanent contract is always finalised at the point the loan is agreed. It's purely down to the club to trigger it.

In this day and age, there would be some break on the players side, without a shadow of doubt. Players hold all the power now

What happens after his loan? There will be more people in for him unless they do a deal where we still have the option to buy?
I mean in the sense of the claim he will get games in a WC year, I would be amazed if he got any more time there than he would here.

There is absolutely zero chance of Liverpool coming sniffing for a player like this unless there has been significant undertones for a period of time

He'll be their first choice RB by the looks of it.

The risk of taking a player on loan over a permanent deal. Athletico got out of a deal to sell Toby Alderweireld to Southampton after a good spell there and sold him to Spurs for more instead.
