Agree not ideal like but he only got about 2 mins. Not like he's going to start. The clubs earned the right to be trusted on transfers. No point keeping a player whose going to be twisting as he wants to join his mate at Liverpool

True. That deal was already done though and Watson was a Sunderland player for the rest of the season, rather than a situation that’s up in the air at the end of a transfer window.

He mightn’t be best pleased but if he wants to impress his international manager he needs to play. If we block the move the only club he could play for is us. If he’s a good pro he’ll realise that and could negotiate a move in the summer.
That said if I was a betting man I’d still say he’ll join Liverpool before 7pm tomorrow !

Its concerning considering his availability last week but Hume started in a position that would have given us a more favourable outcome. Hopefully weve something lined up which I think we will have

Not really understanding all the twisting. He's good to have in the squad for his versaitility but he's horrifically slow as a defender I think, hes a cdm all day.

Fair enough its disappointing he didnt play against West Ham but thats only based around Hume having a mare. Hume isnt always that bad when he's slotted in the middle when we are attacking

No its not only based on Hume having a mare, though its partly the reason it may have happened - it's based on us being really weak without Xhaka - Diarra and Le Fee play further forward, any combination of Le Fee and Sadiki in a deeper central role is too lightweight for the PL. Add the likes of Mundle and Hume around them and it's utter shit for the level.

Even Diarra, Le Fee and Sadiki for me lacks a bit of control and authority right now.

Its sad news. If as many think its been brewing then odd we dont seem to be active in market?. Loosing his versatility limits options in few places with Xhaka and Traore out for a while squad looks bit thin. I guees RLB thinks we have enough in bank come what may even if it risks a weaker run in to end of season.

Hes still been making the National team ... hes clearly struggled here .. in some respects our levels have risen so fast that a lad like geertruida isn't even a regular starter... dont wanna lose him but evolution is never painless
