Geertruida

Geertrudia was brilliant over Xmas especially at Spurs away. He had a poor game at Brentford as did Xhaka Alderete Mukilele etc aswell then he wasn’t seen for the following 3 games. Hume is having a decent season but there isn’t a person telling me Hume is a better footballer than Geertrudia and he should of been playing ahead of Hume especially with Xhaka out
Perhaps this has been on the cards since that Brentford game? It would explain his lack of game time.

With everyone fit and available Geertruida doesn’t start unless we go with 5 at the back.
He’s behind Mukiele at RB, behind Ballard and Alderete at CB, Reinildo at LB and Xhaka and Sadiki in CM.
He should start ahead of Hume at RB as he’s better. He should also start ahead of Hume in CM.
Xhaka being out should mean he plays but it’s understandable to a degree that he didn’t play last week. If Hume had been even semi competent last week it wouldn’t have been so controversial to leave him out but he was utter turd and hooked at HT.
He does TBF, Hume hasn't started at CM

I can’t see how it wouldn’t be. We have an option meaning Leipzig can’t just recall him
Again, this is guessing.

We don't know for sure we have an option.

Even if we do, Leipzig may still be able to recall him if we don't exercise the option.

If we do exercise the option, it may still require the player's agreement. Safe to say that won't come if Liverpool are in for him, especially with us not utilising him much.

What a bizarre situation. Brilliant player but only good enough for the bench when everyones fit.

Our genuine wide players create fuck all, which is why we’ve seen ELF & Mayenda there at times.
They're in and out of the side, imo it's time for them to be given a run in the side. Talbi right, Adingra left.
They aren't going to create by not playing and given the options it's a no brainer for me

Downie has said that we need to “sanction” the move

Obviously we don’t *know* the details, like I don’t *know* all sorts of things, but we take on balance of facts and trust that it’s true

The loan is for the season, so Leipzig being able to recall him in January, with no agreement from us, would make no sense

Adingra was given a run during AFCON, had one good game then was poor again. Mundle doesn’t seem ready for PL football.

I’d be starting Talbi left, but trying to find a better LW.

More than one good game imo, I'd persist with him and give him proper run. Swapping and changing isn't working. Time to show some faith in them imo
