Nordi Mukiele

Quality player, clearly thought we could still get something and didnt want to come off.

Can understand the reaction.... we as fans might be ok for us just plod along finishing lower half clear of relegation as part of a gradual improvement but players like him, xhaka and reinildo wont be content with that having competed for trophies at the top end of the leagues most of their careers.

I thought Mukiele was having his most and the teams most productive period of the game when he was brought off. I do t know the severity of any injury he had but for me I would have kept him on as we were getting some success down our right- moving forward to the next game and beyond I would be playing Nordi at right back every game and if we do have an issue at CB with poor form or injuries then I would much rather Geertruida came into the mix.
I felt like we were throwing the towel in when we subbed him. He was the one that was getting us forward

He wasn’t furious because he was hooked he was furious because of everything leading up to the hooking

I’m not against somebody having a paddy because they’re f***ing furious at a team performance
He wasn't happy at all. I was rewatching the highlights and the clip where Bowen was readying to take the penalty....Nordi standing on the edge of box looking well pissed off.

Still it looks unprofessional kicking off like that. Save it for the dressing room.

He was probably pissed off with Hume for the tackle…. as we all were

Player of the match for me ,brilliant assist . So what that hes passionate?
After years of over paid journeyman looking for a last payday ,he's a breath of fresh air.
He’s a outstanding player Mukiele but lets not pretend he had a good game yesterday because the stat sheet shows a assist, He was all over the place defensively, Let 5ft 8 Summerville beat him in the air for the opening goal, He was in no mans land for the 3rd and let Summerville have a free run at goal that lead to Fernandes goal. He passed the ball out of play twice. So like i say he’s a top top player but let’s not rewrite history he was shite yesterday

We must-have watched a different game. Admittedly I have only watched it once and don't tend to analyze it to the extent you have .

He was key in getting the team forward hence the assist but like you say defensively came short. I guess when you mix things up as much as RLB did it can throw the team out simple mistakes are made and often when it comes defending mistakes are even more costly

He gave everything for the badge — top, top player. But he does need to manage his energy better at times. You could see he ran out of steam when someone ran past him too easily.
He had every right to be frustrated about coming off, but RLB made the right call. It was a smart precaution to avoid anything going wrong. That’s proper man-management — looking after the players’ wellbeing first.
