Nordi Mukiele

If your talking technical skill, yes he’s very good but so is Le Fee
No one can deny Xhaka is also very good technically but it is clear we miss Xhaka far more than Nordi, results show when Xhaka hasn’t played or started we suffer
We will have to agree to disagree
If there’s one player in our squad who could be a permanent starter for any club in the division it would be Nordi, I couldn’t say that about Le Fee or Xhaka.
Can you believe we are discussing this quality of player playing for us when 5 years ago we were talking about Dobson, Power, McFadzean (shudder) and the likes?!?
Ah man you’ve gone and done it, there’s my twitch away again.

To be fair they are both exceptional footballers who bring different things to the party - Granit for leadership, level headedness, organisation, skill and footballing nous; Nordi superb defending, brilliant going forward, creator of goals, skill and footballing ability.

Who is better? I wouldn't like to say, as 'just' footballers they are on a par.

Who do we miss most? Granit without any doubt - we desperately need his leadership and organisational abilities, let alone his footballing talent.

In my view, in 63 or so years of being a fan, Granit is the best player and leader we have ever had.
We miss Granit more because we don’t have anyone else at the club who can play his position/roll, we have players who can fill in for Nordi, Roefs, Ballard etc. As has been said already Granits organisation, experience & leadership can’t be replaced but he is prone to the odd mistake. I’m struggling to remember a Nordi mistake. Strong, as good at CB as he is at RB, marauding down that wing he is also our most attacking threat at times.

100% agree...been saying this myself.

Xhaka is our most influential player but I think Nordi is our best player, as mentioned earlier arguing over our best players...what a time to be alive!

Nostalgia is a funny thing, I recently found myself reminiscing about the old days of Jack Rodwell, Danny Graham and co gently strolling around the pitch without a care in the world, thinking how great it was….

….to be them, lazy useless twats!

It’s been years since we’ve argued about who our best player in the squad is. What a time to be alive.
Aye the bar has gone up a bit from Callum Macfadzean, Declan John, Jerome Sinclair and Kaz Sterling.

In 7 years we've gone from Jack Baldwin and Dylan McGeouch to Nordi and Xhaka.
