I hadn't really heard of him before this thread. Since I don't watch Barça or la liga and haven't played Champ Man for years, thats no surprise. I'll have to take your word for it how good he is, his youtube vids do look good mindIt would seem that we have made th we bid. Is he worth it?
Sesko £60 million, Wirtz £120 million.
Compared to this, he's a snippet.
Mate, you've got me slavering just from your posts. Sounds like exactly like what we need!Overperforms his xg mainly. The nerds absolutely love him.
Mind, I've seen him score left foot, right foot, screamers, tap ins, headers
He just does everything well. A 1 in 4 record from midfield.

I still haven't got it but I'm more down with the cadavers than with the kids.Haha! Took me a while to figure that one out. Brilliant!
Get Xhaka to fly over and get him to sign. Jobs a good un.It's not the money for me, I absolutely think we could do it, especially now we've all but guaranteed survival and another year on the gravy train. €80m amortised over 5 years is €16m, say £14m, plus £5m yearly wages, £19m. It's not that crazy. It's less than half of what we added onto our costs in the summer window, and he's a superstar, still not in his prime.
It's just whether we could sell the dream to him.
Spent just over half of that net, hence decent PSR headroom.Wouldn't have believed we'd spend 200 mil in the Summer.
Could use with a bit more attacking prowess out of midfield. Pair him up with Amad and we're off to the races.
(I would not bet a single penny on this happening but will chose to entertain the fantasy for now!)
EDIT: The more I think about this - it would be a snip at 80 mil.
Get him signed, SpeakFLo.
It's a silly thing kids like to annoy their parents/ teachers with these days. Not sure of the meaning, but there are articles about it.I still haven't got it but I'm more down with the cadavers than with the kids.

That's the spirit. The idea of learning from and providing cover for Le Fee might seal it.
+ cash obviouslyBa and Poveda straight swap I heard.

To be fair that’s no different to what we did with spurs when signing cirkin. They had a buy back clause for £6m. It’s not unheard of and we’ve been comfortable doing it in the pastI thinks we’re becoming just an easy link for jornos and agents looking to get either interest in their player or touch for new contract talks. We’re not spending double our record in a young lad from Barca manit would be class but we’re not at that stage yet. £60m could be used elsewhere better and the recruitment team will have targets to improve us but a signing like this is for when we’re in Europe etc and have way more funds. £60m would take up a huge chunk of our headroom just can’t see us spending it all on one young lad however good he maybe. Then there’s actually convincing him to sign. Barca do weird deals too, like real they sold that young lad to como and have a buy back for a few million more than they sold him even though in reality he’s worth two or three times that now.
Your talking £60m here though, we’d be taking a lot of risk at that level only to make say £10m if he went on to do well wouldn’t really fit the model too well. I’ll be honest like most is maybe seen him once or twice seeing as Spanish football has pretty much disappeared from uk tv now. I just can’t see us spending so much with so much risk and if Barca do Barca deals little plus on the other side should’ve smash it in the premier league. To be fair that’s no different to what we did with spurs when signing cirkin.
