Northern trains

Bit of an update lads, theyve apologised n offered to pay for taxi 👍🏾
They knocked my claim back from same day when couldn’t get on the 18:01 back , as they said there was another train in less than an hour even though northern rail bloke on platform said next ones were likely to be the same
If there’s anyone stuck for New Year’s Day getting back to Teesside (Thornaby station way ) I’ll have a couple of seats spare in car

The joy, all 2 carriages today.

Being a sunday maybe less other travellers hopefully.
Looks like there’s no bullet services either!

Just one train every hour. Be a few Leeds on them too today I’d imagine.

There’s a 12:32 Grand central that gets into Sunderland at 13:22. It’s ridiculous that it takes 50 minutes to get Sunderland from EAG and it only stops twice! It actually doesn’t show as stopping at Seaham on their website too.

Not all of the GCs stop at Seaham.
We were on this one (it's the10:00 from KX) on the way back from Brighton last Sunday and it is not a "stop at Seaham" service

I’m hoping real time trains is wrong…

But it looks as if every train before and after the game is 2 carriages!

In the week the government announces massive investment in trains in the north of England anarl.

I don't use the DCL cos I live up the coast, not down but reading this thread has become part of my match day routine. :)

I'm the same, metro or drive in from Gateshead, but find this thread compulsive.
Absolute disgrace the ball ache these lads have getting up to Sunderland on a match day. You have my sympathies, has to be sorted soon.
